This dual accreditation confirms that BM Certification meets the technical and procedural requirements to conduct independent validation and verification of carbon projects in accordance with internationally recognized criteria.

BM Certification has been officially accredited by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB) as a Validation and Verification Body (VVB) for two leading international carbon standards:
-
Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) – Verra
-
Gold Standard for the Global Goals (GS4GG)
This dual accreditation confirms that BM Certification meets the technical and procedural requirements to conduct independent validation and verification of carbon projects in accordance with internationally recognized criteria. It further strengthens our capacity to support project developers, asset owners, and stakeholders in delivering credible and transparent emission reduction outcomes.
As an accredited VVB, BM Certification now provides third-party assurance services for a wide range of climate mitigation projects, contributing to environmental integrity and alignment with global sustainability goals. The accreditation process was carried out in compliance with SLAB’s conformity assessment procedures, under ISO/IEC 17029 and relevant VCS and GS program-specific requirements.
With sector-specific expertise, a transparent and efficient assessment process, and a strong commitment to impartiality and quality, BM Certification offers credible and internationally recognized validation and verification services under both the VCS and GS4GG frameworks.
