Obtaining a BM Certification certificate is an important proof of your organization’s international management practice, and the certificate is considered to be an element that increases the organization’s value. This is an achievement to be proud of, so we encourage you to use the certification marks that you receive with your certificate. Certification marks are designed as a symbol to certify that your organization is assessed and meets the requirements of a particular standard.
Guidelines for the use of certification marks
Management system certification
The certification mark may be placed:
- In e-mail signatures;
- on the organisation’s website;
- on stationery;
- on the vehicles of the organization;
- on the signs and flags of the organization;
- brochures and other promotional materials.
Restrictions on the use of certification marks:
X it is prohibited to make any amendments to the design of the certification mark;
X it is prohibited to place certification marks on the product and primary packaging of the organization;
X certification marks must not be used in a misleading manner or to give the impression that they relate to anything other than the scheme (standard) and scope that is certified;

Supply chain certification
FSC ® COC trademark
FSC trademarks guarantee consumers that the products they purchase come from responsible sources, allowing them to choose products that support forest conservation and responsible and long-term maintenance. The company can use the trademarks as soon as the certificate is issued and the company is registered in the FSC database. FSC has three registered trademarks: logo, FSC® and Forest Stewardship Council®. The FSC provides a logo creation tool that can be accessed after obtaining a certificate.

PEFC COC trademark
The PEFC label helps consumers identify materials from sustainably managed forests. It may be used to label certified products and / or to promote the company and certified products. PEFC has three registered trademarks: the logo, PEFC and the Program for Endorsement of Forest Certification. Companies should use the PEFC logo creation tool to ensure that the logo used complies with the PEFC requirements.

The UTZ trademark can be used by certified cocoa, coffee and tea supply chain companies. Use of the trademark must be agreed with UTZ, and each approval of use is valid for 1 year. When using the mark on the product packaging, it is mandatory to use text indicating the type of product, (brief) information about the UTZ, as well as a web reference. The UTZ trademark may only be used if the ingredient to be certified is the main ingredient of the product included in the product name and / or image.

The RSPO trademark is a globally recognized eco-label that indicates the use of RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil in a product. If the packaging of the product indicates the use of RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil, the trademark and the associated identification number must also be included. The trademark can be received after obtaining the certificate by applying on the RSPO website.

The A-Mark certification scheme applies to two types of products: the Production Process Control (FPC) certification and the classification of products according to their reaction to fire or fire resistance requirements, as well as the assessment of the conformity of FPCs according to standards, technical specifications or quality regulations. The certification mark may only be used in one of the two official color variations of the mark; the size of the mark can be adjusted while maintaining the proportions and respecting the minimum height (20mm) limits.

Q-Mark is a product and personnel certification quality mark that applies to products in the Q-Mark certification scheme. The certification scheeme name ‘Q-Mark’ is not included in the trademark, but the scheme must be indicated next to the mark, including both elements in the box. Only one of the two official color variations of the mark may be used; the size of the certification mark can be adjusted while maintaining the proportions and respecting the minimum height (20mm) limits.

Ražotājam jānodrošina, ka tiek ievērots CE zīmes minimālais augstums (5mm), un, zīmi palielinot vai samazinot, jāievēro proporcionalitāte.
